This piece actually started as a bit of an accident. Our group of friends has a habit of calling ourselves (and each other) “potatoes” in awkward or embarrassing moments — we’re truly just a big pile of potatoes. One day, a potato-shaped pendant was made as a joke for a friend, and that’s where the idea was born. If there are so many of us just in one friend group, there must be even more out there!
So, the potato is a tribute — and a celebration of accepting your inner potato. Put a potato around your neck — even the queen of potatoes does.
